Welcome to the Waverider, fellow superhero fans! Tomorrow’s Legends is a TV review podcast that reviews each episode of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, Stargirl, The Flash, and Superman and Lois.

Let’s meet your hosts! The Wonder Twins, Martin the Flash and Jess aka Harley Quinn, started their podcasting journey in 2016 when they founded the SiberCast Network and launched Tomorrow’s Legends. Until 2020, the Wonder Twins exclusively covered DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, but as a global pandemic continued on, they filled the Legends hiatus with Stargirl. In 2021, Tomorrow’s Legends officially expanded to cover Superman & Lois, and welcomed one more host onboard the Waverider, Geoff aka XForce11! XForce11 is a co-host on Gotham Undercover, a podcast dedicated to the TV show, Gotham. The trio has known each other for many years as members of the same superhero-loving communities.

At Tomorrow’s Legends, we have a tradition of using superhero names. We encourage all our friends to adopt a superhero alias and join us on the Waverider as we discuss the shows we love! If you need help with a superhero name, send us an email and we will help you choose one.

Thanks so much for all your support! Please comment below, and as always, we love to hear from you, so send us feedback and we'll respond to it on the next episode! Also, don't hesitate to share us with all your superhero friends!

Synopsis

Sarah goes to Ava’s apartment, hoping to work out their differences, and discovers that Ava has been kidnapped. Meanwhile, Constantine realizes Nora is on the Waverider and she tells him about Neron. Constantine is telling Nora her connection to Neron is a liability when Sarah walks in and explains Ava is missing. She returns to Ava’s apartment with Nora and Constantine, hoping for a lead.

As it turns out, Nora can tune into Neron’s “frequency” and informs Sarah that Ava has been taken to the Sleepaway Inn. Although the name is on the nose, Ava is still alive, but barely. They bring Ava back to the Waverider and Sarah commands Constantine to send her to purgatory after Ava.

As it turns out, Ava’s version of purgatory is essentially IKEA, a giant warehouse megastore with endless choices to make regarding mass produced home decor. Just as Ava is about to check out (literally), Sarah finds her and tells her what is happening. Together the two attempt to retrace her steps and return to the entrance, but the only “helpful” thing they find is Gary. He directs to the couple to a wardrobe.

Puzzled, Sara deduces they have to put together the wardrobe in order to leave, much like Narnia, and immediately bulldozes ahead to put it together. Instead of working with Ava, she just does it all herself. Not surprisingly, the wardrobe falls apart and the couple has a real conversation, the first of many. They put the wardrobe together, enter it, and find they are in the mattress section of the store.

So, time to pick a mattress, gotta watch out for those warranties though! As they continue to confront Ava’s anxieties, Sarah admits that she wants to spend the rest of her life with Ava, but is scared. They decide on the 50 year mattress and fall into an apartment full of mundane tasks. Unable to deal, Sarah snaps and Ava retreats into her corner, scared. Sarah finds herself in a warehouse full of Ava’s, any Ava she could possibly ever want, but she only wants her Ava. She is directed to a door marked “as is” and enters to find Ava crying. She explains she only wants Ava, they reconcile, and return to the land of the living.

Meanwhile, Ray and Nate are trying to discover what Hank was really up to and track down Neron. They discover the site where Hank is building his theme park and decide to pay a visit. What Hank has started to put together is truly awesome and completely based on several drawings Nate drew as a child. Touched and confused, Nate orders to builder to tear down the whole thing.

With everyone else occupied, Constantine enlists Charlie and Nora to help him catch Neron since he has not yet discovered Ava is missing. Using Charlie’s abilities, they are able to get the upper hand and lock Neron away in a magical containment unit. Constantine and Nora form a plan to lure Neron out into the open so he will expire on the mortal plane. Unfortunately, ray misinterprets the situation and rushes to save Nora from herself. (He should know by now she can take care of herself!) Neron gets the upper hand and Nora attempts to destroy him with an energy blast. Unfortunately, it is too late. Neron has taken up residence in Ray and Nora is in a coma.
