Welcome to the Waverider, fellow superhero fans! Tomorrow’s Legends is a TV review podcast that reviews each episode of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, Stargirl, The Flash, Superman and Lois, Justice League, and X-Men '97. Let’s meet your hosts! The Wonder Twins, Martin the Flash and Jess aka Harley Quinn, started their podcasting journey in 2016 when they founded the SiberCast Network and launched Tomorrow’s Legends. Until 2020, the Wonder Twins exclusively covered DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, but as a global pandemic continued on, they filled the Legends hiatus with Stargirl. In 2021, Tomorrow’s Legends officially expanded to cover Superman & Lois, and welcomed one more host onboard the Waverider, Geoff aka XForce11! XForce11 is a co-host on Gotham Undercover, a podcast dedicated to the TV show, Gotham. The trio has known each other for many years as members of the same superhero-loving communities. In 2024, we expanded to cover X-Men '97 and brought on long time feedback contributor Abby Frisco also known as Dreamweaver/Shadowcat. We are so pleased to have her onboard as a co-host! At Tomorrow’s Legends, we have a tradition of using superhero names. We encourage all our friends to adopt a superhero alias and join us on the Waverider as we discuss the shows we love! If you need help with a superhero name, send us an email and we will help you choose one. Thanks so much for all your support! Please comment below, and as always, we love to hear from you, so send us feedback and we'll respond to it on the next episode! Also, don't hesitate to share us with all your superhero friends!

The Waverider has crossed us over into another universe where another world has its own superheroes and super villains. We are covering the Netflix series Jupiter's Legacy based on the Image Comics of the same name.

The first episode "By Dawn's Early Light" lays the groundwork for this universe. We have a group of heroes The Union of Justice or the Union for short, who seek to serve the world with morals and integrity. Their leader, The Utopian lays out their code.  "Service, compassion, mercy, those are the words we live by. That is our Code, and it's the most important thing in the world." But that Code is hard to live by in a changing world.

The Utopian, know also as Sheldon, and his wife Grace, who's alter ego is Lady Liberty, have two kids. The Code and their parents' life as heroes have had dramatic and dividing impacts on them. Brandon, know as Paragon, wants to carry on the Union. He is not his father and even though everyone tells him he can't live up to that legacy, he tries. But even his father is unsure of him. Meanwhile his sister, Chloe, is rebelling against the code, her father and his morality. We have the original heroes who have served the world since the late 1930's and then the next generation who have inherited their powers.  All are put to the test when the supervillain Blackstar breaks out of prison.

But that is only part of the story. We also get flashbacks to the 1929 era where we see our heroes before they gained their powers. It shows us the forces and morals that shape them for decades to come.

It was a bold first episode. It raises a lot of questions. It also seeks to examine many of the issues and questions about how superheroes would really work in the real world. Our podcast is ready to examine them all along with you our loyal community.
