Welcome to the Waverider, fellow superhero fans! Tomorrow’s Legends is a TV review podcast that reviews each episode of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, Stargirl, The Flash, and Superman and Lois.

Let’s meet your hosts! The Wonder Twins, Martin the Flash and Jess aka Harley Quinn, started their podcasting journey in 2016 when they founded the SiberCast Network and launched Tomorrow’s Legends. Until 2020, the Wonder Twins exclusively covered DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, but as a global pandemic continued on, they filled the Legends hiatus with Stargirl. In 2021, Tomorrow’s Legends officially expanded to cover Superman & Lois, and welcomed one more host onboard the Waverider, Geoff aka XForce11! XForce11 is a co-host on Gotham Undercover, a podcast dedicated to the TV show, Gotham. The trio has known each other for many years as members of the same superhero-loving communities.

At Tomorrow’s Legends, we have a tradition of using superhero names. We encourage all our friends to adopt a superhero alias and join us on the Waverider as we discuss the shows we love! If you need help with a superhero name, send us an email and we will help you choose one.

Thanks so much for all your support! Please comment below, and as always, we love to hear from you, so send us feedback and we'll respond to it on the next episode! Also, don't hesitate to share us with all your superhero friends!

Synopsis

Mona is now stowed away on the Waverider while the Legends decide to take on another mission despite being on the outs with both the Bureau and Ava. When Mona tries to explain her plight to Sara, she blows her off (with a warning not to touch the red button in the bathroom) and heads off to 1973 to kidnap Nixon.

Meanwhile at the Time Bureau, Ava has taken a leave of absence which means that Hank is in charge and the Legends are Enemy #1. Nate and Zari, who are still pretending to be dating, beat Hank to the Waverider to warn the Legends. Now fugitives themselves, all of Team Legends commandeer the Get Away and attempt to find out what’s wrong with Nixon and deliver him to Disney World in time for his infamous speech.

While stuck in the RV, Constantine discovers that a truth bug has found its way to Nixon. He gets it out of Nixon, but a frustrated Sara leaves a fragile Mona in charge of the creature. Mona, afraid the bug is suffocating, pokes a hole in the top and drops the jar, causing Ray to drive erratically. When the police pull him over, the hole in the jar allow the bug to escape, attracted to the lies Ray is telling the police officer. As predicted, the Legends slip-up and after Ray tells the cop the truth, he reports the pot-smoking hippies to Hank’s delight.

Sara tells Ray to gun it and they are once again on the run with Nate and Hank in hot pursuit. Constantine uses a neat bilocation trick so they can get off the road and away from Hank. It works and it buys the Legends some time for a little Truth or Truth. Constantine gets real, Ray gets dark, and Mick wishes he had Fabio’s hair. Finally, Sara gets the bug and unloads on Mona who decides to leave the Legends and try her luck on her own in 1973. Afterall, she has a secret that no one has yet uncovered.

Back to Nate and Hank. So these two have a lot of good bonding time, even if initially Nate is only trying to get information from his father to uncover his secrets. After uncovering his father’s childhood pet for Gary (he and Nora are trying to hack Hank), he genuinely wants to learn more about his father. Unfortunately, Neron has uncovered that someone is hacking Hank and calls to warn him. Hank knows Nate can only be asking those questions for one reason, and correctly deduces he has been keeping the Legends one step ahead of them the entire time.

In the end though, the truth bug finds Nate once Hank finds the Legends, or at least the Legends left in the RV. He finally opens up to his father, confessing he knows his secrets and how much he has enjoyed working with him. Nate cannot understand why Hank thinks they are on the same side, and Hanks claims everything he is doing, he is doing for Nate. He decides to let the Legends go when he realizes his actions are only hurting his son.

Meanwhile, Sara and Constantine are looking for Mona and stumble upon a diner that is entirely too quiet. Just as the comment on it, Mona hurls an agent through the door and people come running out. They rush in to discover her dirty little secret: she’s a kaupe. Sara ends up talking Mona off the ledge by admitting she was wrong and that it’s ok to let out your feelings. Mona turns human again and the two embrace.

With the mission complete, Hank returns to the Time Bureau for a late meeting with Neron. When he tries to “break it off,” Neron kills him for his trouble. Nora, aware of what is happening, escapes from her cell to try to save him. She is too late and Nate walks in as she kneels over the body. Assuming she killed him, Nate blames her and she is forced to escape before she save Hank.
